I have to say Punk Yoga: Survive the Holidaze was a real treat and I’m excited for Broke A$$ Holidays. Escaping the holiday craziness with style at my local library seems to be the way to go this year!

I totally arrange my books by color, too. And like you, it’s only the fiction that’s done that way. I figure this is as good a way as any. I mean, I have so many books at this point, and I add new ones so often that there’s no way alphabetical is really going to work — too hard to maintain when you have to shift shelves and shelves of books to fit in that new one with an author who has a last name that begins with A! I pretty much never have trouble finding anything — I can usually see the book I’m looking for in my head and go directly to the right color section for it

Fascinating. Unfortunately I don’t get to see a lot of other people’s bookshelves. Mine are by subject then by author, with fiction, psychology, and other books related to my writing all sitting nearer to my desk.

Hi Becky-
This is not a weekly occurance. We have done two sessions of punk rock aerobics, this is the first pilates. There may be others on occasion, depending on the level of attendance. You can also check our meetup at http://www.meetup.com/altlibrary we have many alt+library events posted there.

Hi, Our family(sans 1 kid-at college) attended last night’s “BAD ART NIGHT” and LOVED it–we had so much fun. Thank you to everyone that coordinated the event–too bad it was a low turn-out(Hey people of SAC–we traveled all the way from Camino–what’s your excuse?) because it was well worth the effort to attend. PS-turned out I was the “winner?”(bad art=loser?)! Thanks again–J.Lacher
